In my 10+ years of serving in my community, I came across many individuals who felt overwhelmed when dealing with paperwork, others were anxious about filling applications, yet others just could not bring themselves to call their mortgage lender to ask for help. I helped several small non-profit organizations file and obtain their federal and state tax exemption.
